REFLECTION:
  Fourth grading. Now this seems our last quarter in our High School Life. I admit I am sad for this but they say save the best for the last, it is the BEST! I have learned many techniques in editing a photo in Adobe. It is simple yet big thing I learn, for me.
  I enjoyed a lot my High School through my ICT subject. Babayyy~ ^^

Kannawidan
 As the Longganisa Festival ended, it is also the start of the Kannawidan Festival. This festival was launched in the 2008. It was started at the 31th of January and ended on February 6. It was held in the Quirino Stadium. For me, this event is more exciting because we Ilocanos shows our old traditions. This traditions should not ignored and we should give importance to it even if we are now in a modern generation. In this event, the different towns of Ilocos Sur presents their own products. There are also different activities in this event during the night. Some are the battle of the band, choir competition, etc. Celebrities also came to entertain people by their talents. Lots of people went at the Plaza Lagoon to watch different shows. they don't even mind the cold weather. they just enjoy watching. This two events gave us so much happiness. Not only the people who lives here in Ilocos Sur but also the tourists who visited our City.

My Dream, My Future

Do you pay attention in how fast time goes by? Before we realize, time has passed by and all the dreams we had for our future have not yet come true. The reason is because our dreams are just dreams and haven’t yet become goals. Life is no Nintendo game. You live only once. Therefore, we must fulfill those precious one called Dream during the rest of our short Life.
As for me, I have my own dreams too. If you ask me this in my childhood, I would say: “I want to be a scientist. I want to be an actor and so on”. But if you ask me now, I will tell you I have two major dreams.
First, I want my life to be colorful and beatific. Enjoying life doesn't waste money, we should use many to do some significant things. For instance, we can contribute our money to help the poor and homeless children, we can travel to somewhere to see the nature scene, we can buy book or collect your interested things to enrich our life, and we also can have time to play with your family.
Third, I want to travel all around the world. I have always been curious about other cultures and the differences between people in other countries. It would be amazing to travel the whole world.
Just realize that you are Riding an Elephant which is the Biggest terricole being, or standing on the Highest spot of magical Pyramids in Egypt, or maybe wandering Deep in the sea and seeing unidentified creatures. Furthermore I would love to bungee jump or swim with sharks, experiencing life to the limits.
In the future I may have new dreams, but the first goal I have to achieve is getting my diploma. This is one of the keys to accomplish my other goals and dreams. After becoming a professional, I want to start a family, one lovely wife and maybe three children

’s and have one beautiful cozy home to raise my kids and grow old with the people I love the most.

 CHANGE STARTS WITH ME

Climate change is here, it is happening, and it is the future. Lots can still be done to mitigate the changes, but policy is moving to adapt to impacts. Discussions around climate change are on a realistic new course. Sufficient of the talk-show bilge about “is it real?” .The shift I am hearing is not only about mitigating climate change, but also promoting smart reworking to the impacts already here, and here to stay. Scientific energy and insight are pointing the discussion toward what can be done to lessen the economic, political and social impacts ahead.

          But look at our planet. Is it well flourished? Or did we just destroy its beauty? Pollution is present in hydrosphere, atmosphere, and lithosphere. Fishes die for they cannot breathe because of garbage in water. Deforestation which leads wild animals homeless and worse: landslides and mudslides occur.
          This is our entire fault. Now, let us do our responsibility. Let us show that “Change starts with me”.

 Reflection:

YAW! Third grading. 

It was a great chapter. We learned many things. We created activities. Adding background image and image in HTML. Linking them together using HYPERLINK.

Though there were many hurdles in our class. Or in having our class I should say. I still enjoyed my third grading period with ICT by my side. Save the best for the last, Fourth grading here we come! Looking up! :)

20 years full of hard bath

Seek for our own path

Just between us it prevails.

CHANGE FOR THE BETTER

As we all know climate change is a never ending topic not only to the scientists but also for us ordinary humans. In our everyday living we can feel its effects. We can really feel that there is really a change not only to the climate but also to the bodies of water and also to the plants. I have noticed that during rainy seasons the bodies of water becomes more wider or deeper than it used to be way back when I’m still in my grade school days, during those times when the rain stops a few moments the water on the ground will also subsides but nowadays it takes hours or even days for the water to subside after the rain.
On the other hand, during summer vacation we used to swim in the river with my friends, during those years the water is so clean and cold but now there is no place for such picnic and swimming because during summer the river is too shallow that cannot even reach the knee of a five years old kid. There is really a great change! Nowadays, based on my observation, the plants grow faster than before and also bear flowers and fruits faster. I don’t know really the exact reason why this is happening. I came to realized maybe because of too much carbon produced in the atmosphere. As we all know plants need carbon to produce their products and because of too much carbon they grow faster and also bear fruit faster.
This is an amazing change! Most of us always think that we, humans are the reason why there is a climate change. Yes, we are part of it, the major contributor of that change. We must also put on our mind that the earth rotation has also its effects on us. Saving the mother earth by planting more trees and saving energy usage is a great help.

All About Christmas 
Vacation as we all know is a recreation, a relaxing mode. For a student like me is having a break from projects, assignments, stress and pressure from school. Christmas is the most important vacation for me. This vacation (Christmas) is a special time for me to spend with my family, to show to them how grateful and happy i am to be with them. This is also the time for my friends and relatives. A time for reflecting and thanking God for everything. Of all the vacations we have, this is the most important vacation for me, Christmas vacation. We, as family, spends every Christmas vacation in a simple way, during Christmas eve, my parents would cook native delicacies and we eat together as one family after which there will be gift giving.
My parents would prefer to spend it in a simple way because as Jesus was born in a simple way. There is a gift giving as a symbol also what God has given us...His only Son. Every time I receive a gift I am always reminded of Jesus and my parents also for they had given me a chance to live and enjoy life. Christmas vacation really is a time for reflection for me. It is really refreshing having a vacation like this that is the reason why this is the most important vacation for me.

BUWAN NG WIKA

       Ang wika ay importanteng pagkakakilanlan ng isang bansa; Ingles, Mandarin, atbp. Ang pagkakaroon ng iisang wika sa isang bansa ay nangangahulugang nagkakaisa sila. Wika ay siyang susi sa matibay na ugnayan at samahan.

       Kaya kada-Agosto ng taon ipinagdiriwang ang Buwan ng wika. Marahil payak na pagdiriwang ngunit makabuluhan. Dito binibigyang importansya ang ating pambansang wika, ang Tagalog. Tulad na lamang sa aming paaralang, Ilocos Sur National High School. Napakaraming gawain na pinamunuhan ng departartamento ng Filipino.

       Lahat ng mag-aaral ay hinikayak na lumahok sa ibat-ibang paligsahan at palaro sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng wika..

Talaga namang napakasaya ang buwang ng wika. Dito mapapagtanto mo na tayong mga Pilipino ay napakasuwerte na mabigyan ng wika Tagalog. J J J J

Nutrition begins with foods. The study of nutrition involves everything that the body does
with food in order to live, like function, and grow. Foods that are eaten regularly make a diet. Although were you live and how you eat play a major part in your dietary habits, food choices vary from person to person. What people eat affects their health and how they live. Plants make their own food from, water, and air. People can’t make their own food but eat plants, and meats to survive. The body’s most important need is for energy. To get energy it needs food as a fuel and oxygen to burn it.

The body changes the calories in food into energy, which is very necessary for the little things like blinking an eye to running a race. Energy is also used for the growing process, for rebuilding damaged cells, and for regulating the body. The number of calories needed each day depends on how much energy your body uses. An active kid can need more calories than an adult who works at a desk. The body needs more.

I believe healthy nutrition is the most important factor for maintaining and keeping good health. Healthy nutrition basically is eating healthy and balanced from all the basic food groups; which consists of the dairy group, poultry group, fruit group, vegetable group and a little from the fats, oils, and sweets groups. It is also imperative to drink an adequate amount that corresponds with the daily guidelines of eight glasses a day which is equivalent to a one two-liter soda per day. In order for myself to attain this status of eating healthy I kept a food log for a month that has the entries of what I ate each day. In this food log it helped me keep track. :)

State of The Nation Address

It was nice to hear the accomplishments of the President for the year that has passed and I am eager to see many of the plans unfolding which will bring the country to a better situation and environment. There are many things that this present administration that needs to be addressed and with only 3 more years in his term. the President must accomplish much.

There are many gains in this administration and there are 2 giant accomplishments that  this administration has been able to accomplish – a drastic reduction of systemic corruption (still far from ideal) and our investment grade status. The nation’s economy has been on an over-drive and it’s about time. Inclusive growth however, seems to be still elusive but I am realistic enough to know that it will take a long time. What I like with this administration is that he seems to be genuinely sincere in leaving a better government for the the next President, like history repeating itself.

Many things needs to be addressed still such as generation of more jobs and better jobs at that. Only when we can have more and better employment can we really say that there is inclusive growth.

I am hopeful for the next 3 years of this administration but even the President understands his limitations. It is my belief that we need to support the President in his reforms and that we need to constantly pray for him and the nation. The Bible says “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” – Psalm 33:12, NIV

There are no direct allusion to the economy except that there are current efforts though not seen that are happening such as job creation in technical skills and the exportation of rice.

Infrastructure that are correctly priced and of quality are the order of the day. They may be causing delays but transparency will make sure that things are right. Overall, the warning about those who continue to defy the Matuwid na Daan is an admission that overall change takes time.

President indeed means business and he is doing things navigating through the democratic process. This is great encouragement for me as a Filipino.

Let us pray as a nation for the nation.
